What exactly is a kids disco?

A kids disco is a dance party for children, with music, movement and fun at the centre. A good kids disco is more than a playlist.

At my kids disco children get:

Practical

How long does it last and what do you get?

Most kids discos last:

60 to 90 minutes for younger children
90 to 120 minutes for older children

Going longer often leads to tiredness and loss of focus.

What exactly is a kids disco?

A kids disco is a musical party for children, with a real DJ, disco lights, effects and interactive games. My kids disco is all about joining in, having fun and dancing together.

What ages is your kids disco suitable for?

My kids disco works best for children roughly 4 to 12 years old. I always adapt the show to the age and type of audience. Sometimes people say mini disco (4–6) or teen disco (11–13), but I do not split it that way: every kids disco is tailor-made.

How much does a kids disco cost?

Can you provide a kids disco at any location?

I perform at schools, gyms, community halls and homes. Outdoor shows can also work with suitable space, power and protection for the equipment. Tell me about your venue so we can check what fits.

How long does a kids disco usually last?

A kids disco usually lasts between 45 minutes and 2 hours. We agree the exact duration based on ages, group size and type of party.

My advice:

Ages 4–7: maximum 1 hour
Ages 7–11: maximum 1.5 hours
Ages 11–13: maximum 2 hours

A longer kids disco is usually not advisable. Children get tired or overstimulated. Want a longer celebration? Add moments around it such as cake, presents or a game.

What do I need to arrange myself for a kids disco?

I bring the agreed DJ equipment, lighting and sound. You arrange a suitable space, power and adult supervision. We discuss access, setup time and any venue restrictions before the party.

Can you also provide a kids disco for large groups?

Yes. My kids disco works for small parties and large events. School parties, festivals or shopping centres with up to about 300 children.

For even bigger crowds I still host the show, but I work with a local sound system or technician on site so the sound stays strong.

Is entertainment included with the kids disco?

Yes. My kids disco is fully interactive: dancing, games and a party children remember.

Extra side activities during the kids disco (face painting, craft tables, a lounge) often distract the group. Give the kids disco full focus and you get the most out of it.

Can I book a themed kids disco?

Yes. Popular themes include Glow in the Dark, Candy, Glitter & Glamour and Halloween kids disco. The interactive kids disco stays the core; music, games and styling follow the theme.

Can I book a kids disco for a birthday party at home?
